Guilt trip

This isn't good, but it may be a good way to get my point across. See what you think. Should I?

Treater and Napper are leaving me alone for three nights, starting tonight. I have a great big food dispenser and matching water dispenser. Treater filters all of my drinking water so that I only get the good stuff. She also said she's gonna look into buying me a better catfood for my sensitive tummy when she goes to the pet store, like maybe the one that Misty from The Crew suggested in the comments on this post.

Treater filled my food dispenser after scrubbing it clean. Then she scrubbed and filled my water dispenser...but it kept glugging and glugging...and soon all of the water was all over the floor!

Somehow, it got cracked! It's too late for her to run out and buy a new one, so guess what she did? She put three big water bowls out!

First of all, I really don't like being alone. Secondly, I'm also not too keen on all of those water bowls. I mean, what if I accidentally spill one...or two?

I could drink all my water by the time they get back, and "accidentally" spill any that's left...then play 'possum on the floor and act like I'm dying of thirst!

Can you say "guilt trip?"

Maybe your Mom could ask a neighbor or friend to check on you and change your water. We hope you don't "accidentally" knock your water over!

Be careful Spooky! I always comfort myself with the thought of drinking out of the tall waterbowl my parents sit on. Although it's harder to perch in my elder years.

Sebastian plays with the water bowl, so usually when we are away long periods of time, there usually is a puddle waiting for us.

Leaving.........again........wow.....

We think you should come here and stay with us!

That does sound like a good guilt trip! We hope you get some treats when they get back...and lots of them!

Good job on the guilt trip! But I am sorry you have to be alone....I hate being alone too.

Bad humans!!! I'd say you have to sent them to obedience school for a while and then to "How to treat your owner (which would be you) right"!
Definitely knock over ALL the bowls right before they come (maybe when you hear the car approach) and pretend you didn't have any food or water for all three days!
