Sad news

Remember when I told you about the wonderful lady named Miss Ruthie who was caring for those tiny kittens who were found in the trash at the landfill?

Miss Ruthie is sad today. The kittens were finally old enough last week to go to a new home. When one went in for its shots, it was found to have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and had to be put to sleep. That means the other kitten is being put to sleep today, too.

My heart hurts for Miss Ruthie and for the kittens and for the people who thought they would have a kitten playing in their home.

I am so sad.

I am purraying for Miss Ruthie.

Oh no. That is terrible! Especially since cats can live with FIV. They just have to be kept away from ones that don't have it.

We will be purring for Miss Ruthie and for those babies as they cross the bridge.

Aw, we are sad for Miss Ruthie too. Purrs coming over to her. And how sad that the kitties had to go to the Bridge before their time.
Purrs,
