Not at all. I may never play with my new toy again. Nor will I ever show my face in public again.
I am so embarrassed.
Remember that new toy I got this week? I was relaxing on the ottoman last night while Treater and Napper were sitting on each side of me with books in their laps. Not looking at me. Not talking to me. Pooh. I got up and told Treater that I was bored, so she gave me that new toy.
I licked and chewed and tossed and rolled it all around, and then I settled down to lick some more. I really got into the licking and next thing I knew, the springy tail on that toy got wrapped around my leg. I couldn't get it off! I ran around and I shook my leg and it wouldn't come off! I jumped back on the ottoman and I shook and shook and shook. Everybody was watching me. This was not the time to be watching me humiliate myself. They weren't even trying to help...they were laughing! At me!
Finally, I shook my leg so hard that the toy flew off into the air and hit the ceiling! I didn't wait around for it to come down - I ran to my safe spot under the bed.
Who wants a slightly-used, well-licked springy toy?

I'm just too humiliated to write for a while. Besides, Treater and Napper are going back to our old house this weekend. Maybe they'll forget about that incident by the time they come back. Perhaps we can plead with Lala to fill in for now and update us on their outdoor adventures. I hear that she, Willow, and Racer have been spending a little time in their backyard. Lala?

It is so horrible that they laughed at you! It was obvious you were not amused by that thing being wrapped around your leg! And then to leave you AGAIN on top of it!!! I hope you put the bitey on them big time when they come back! I will teleport over and help!

That toy was not very nice to attach itself to your little leg! Do not be embarrassed, it is really the toy's fault.

That sounds like a very awkward moment! I can see it in my minds eye and it makes me a bit quesy. It could have been worse, they could have had it on video!!!!
